How long have you been a member of MOAAP?
5 years
Why did you decide to join MOAAP?
MOAPP provides so many opportunities to network with other pediatricians and work together with others to advocate for the health of all children!
What has been your proudest moment as a pediatrician?
I enjoy each age and stage, and any time that we catch a delay early and intervene brings me pride. It warms my heart every time I see a baby or toddler who is connected to early intervention services meet a new milestone.
What does advocacy mean to you?
To me, advocacy is looking at all the aspects of a child’s life and looking for opportunities to intervene upstream to keep kids as healthy and happy as possible.
What is your go-to song to get you motivated for the day?
Anything by Beyonce
What advice would you give to future pediatricians?
Make time for whatever puts wind in your sails and brings you joy!
