Learn more about Dr. Moody in her own words:

What has been your proudest moment as a pediatrician?

One of my proudest moments was when a local school counselor called me because a student was in a mental health crisis and the counselor knew that the student had developed a positive relationship with me as his pediatrician. We were able to talk with the student on the phone and later saw him in the office and was able to get him directed to the appropriate level of care. I still see this young man in the office today and look forward to his routine visits!

What does advocacy mean to you?

Advocacy means action. Being able to solve issues or problems that arise in the clinic in a systems-level way that can benefit all pediatric providers and children.

What is your go-to song to get you motivated for the day?

Whatever was my favorite song played at the last concert I went to — “Soul” by Lee Brice

What advice would you give to future pediatricians?

“Do what you love. Love what you do.”
